Credit Management
Good credit is one of the cornerstones of a sound financial life strategy. With good credit, interest rates for mortgage, credit cards and other loans can be kept at the minimum. Through our affiliation with a major credit management company, Independent Associates of Z-Group International can offer their clients a path that has the potential to lead to improvements in the clients credit scores.
Credit scores can range from a high of 850 down to below 500, with credit ratings moving from Excellent, through Good and Fair, to a low of Poor. With a credit score below 500, credit is almost impossible to obtain. For almost any type of loan, the interest rate of the loan is dependent on your credit rating. Two examples are given below relating to the impact of your credit rating on loan interest rates.
For a 5 year, $25,000 auto loan, the table below shows the impact of a person’s credit rating on both the interest rate and the ensuing monthly payments. As the table shows, monthly payment differences of up to $112 per month can exist between a Good and a Poor credit rating, amounting to additional payments of $6,500 in interest over the life of the loan.
For a home mortgage loan of $300,000 with a 30 year term, the table below shows the impact of variations in your credit rating. The difference between a person with a Poor rating relative to a person with a Good credit rating amounts to an additional $768 in monthly interest payments over the life of the loan. Imagine what you could do with $768 dollars more in spendable income if you could only improve your credit score!

After that, they must inform you on the results and their investigation, update your credit report and send you a copy of the updated report. After sending a dispute letter, it usually takes 60 days before you receive an updated credit report. When you receive all the responses from the bureaus, mail them to 10 East Mulberry Street, Baltimore, MD 21202 to move your case forward.
